Do you know where that statue is?
I did a reverse image search on the google.
It appears to be Durango, CO.
“permanent home in front of the Durango Police Department on East Second Avenue”
According to the article, it went on tour and was temporarily in Liberty State Park across from Manhattan. The original pic looks like Manhattan is in the background.
Yep, Durango skyscrapers tend to be a bit smaller.
lightbulb in garage door opener was out
no idea how to remove cover to access it.
When i touched the bulb it flickered, so was able to tighten it and avoid the greater issue

Rotisserie chicken for dinner. The dog was happy although I get warned about giving her too much.
“Be careful to not give her pancreatitis.”
“She used to live on the streets. She’s got a bomb proof stomach.”
“She’s been living the easy life here for 6 years.”
That also makes the dog happy.
Six years. Time flies.

One down [or I guess 3 down, since we did both cards for another issuer], one to go.
We had a situation at my son’s school two weeks ago that seemed like it was going to be resulting in a lawsuit, because all attempts to resolve amicably weren’t going anywhere. But today, the school has agreed to meet our requests, which I am pleasantly surprised by.
I suspect that this means that we could push for more and/or have more success if we hired a lawyer, since I don’t think the school would be agreeing to our terms if they thought they could get away with stonewalling us, but that’s not what we want. It will be good to have this behind us.
Fall seems to finally be here. 88° yesterday, today’s high is 70°, so I’m biking all over town.
We finally got a little bit of rain, in the middle of a severe drought, and it’s much cooler now than it was this afternoon. Feels nice.
