Yes Palin supported Trump, I’m not seeing Trump’s supporters let Palin tell them what to do.
I agree, he’s mentally ill, but instead of Republicans acknowledging that, they have used the results of his mental illness to justify acting like a mentally ill person and telling delusional lies. I refuse to vote for anyone who participated in this charade and I am pretty conservative.

With DiSantis at .27 and interest rates at what they are you would only need a probability estimate of around 1/3 to have a positive expected value after fees and TVM.
Yes, though I’m not risk-neutral nor particularly confident in desantis. I just think Trump (and Biden) are overpriced. I could buy “no” against them, but I could also just buy stocks.

It is really hard to run against an incumbent president.
The only reason trump lost is because he has a personality disorder. If he could have changed just a little he would have won.
Biden’s age does change that calculus a bit. He might not be able to run. But I think it’s always easy to overestimate a challenger’s chances at this stage of a presidency.
I think that disorder is basically the only reason he has any followers as well. They all believe his delusions. Everything he says is wrapped up in his delusions of his own grandeur. He is mentally ill and at 76 or however old he is he is going to die mentally ill. In a way I feel sorry for him, but it’s dangerous for people like him to be President.
Yeah, and this makes it difficult to tell how much of his insanity was actual dementia vs pandering to the crowds vs just who he is deep down inside.
I do think there’s some of all 3 things going on.

But sometimes the “why” is less obvious.
Narcissistic Personality Disorder is the reason for all of this. Covfefe is just an old age gaffe. He panders to the crowd because he desperately needs acceptance so he doesn’t ever have to look in the mirror. Grab em by the pussy is the same thing. He does that because he can’t deal with rejection so don’t give the ladies a choice. He lies about an election because believing he lost would destroy his delusions about himself and his delusions about himself are the only thing covering up that deep dark insecurity a young boy who never lived up to his fathers expectations has hidden deep within his soul.
