I agree on DeSantis, no way he runs with Palin though. He’ll probably pick someone who people don’t have strong feelings about but checks some diversity boxes.

See it’s not sexist when Trump said it because that was a long time ago. He had a female campaign manager and he nominated a woman to the Supreme Court, so that proves he cannot possibly be sexist.

Biggest obstacle to Desantis is trump in the primary. If he can overcome that he’s the next president imo. Especially if Democrats run Biden again

Agreed, if Trump can get his ego out the way I think DeSantis will probably beat whomever the Ds offer. If it’s Biden then it’ll be no-contest.
Now if it’s Trump I can see sticking with Biden, which will be a shame. Alas we’re all just at the mercy of Trump’s ego, a sad place to be.

I think the prediction markets get okayish when it comes close to election time, but at this point, no rational investor would put money on the race.
We complain when the media gets sucked into this horse race crap but I guess actuary gonna actuary.
With statements like that he shouldn’t be allowed to run at all imo. With all the new info coming out it seems Trump actually thought he won and also thought he had a legitimate chance to usurp power. I thought he was just pretending this whole time. So much scarier this way.

Certainly DeSantis seems most likely to inherit the GOP and the Trumpkins, though DeSantis is not the same as Trump. At least not yet.

he only lost on paper due to the democrat’s cheating. he really won if it was fair and square and the votes of minorities were thrown out.

Well wouldn’t that be Pence? If Trump really won in 2020 then Pence is the rightful VPOTUS and should be reinstated as such if Trump were to die.
