apostrophe worked for me in the actual exam environment
Sorry to hear that, that really sucks. Hopefully it wasnāt too bad to get help and get back home.
my thoughts exactly, still failed, but the lesson is learned - approach 1 exam at a time!
I got the hard version. Even a 62.5 percent pass mark wonāt save me
Is anyone else getting PMās from someone by the name of helpmeparty? They were asking me for tips on how to āprepare for the next sittingā. I also noticed they posted in this thread with a survey link as soon as the exam window opened. They havenāt otherwise contributed to this or any other exam thread, so I am a little wary of their motivations behind both the survey post and the private message asking for tips.
Yeah I just ignored them. Probably an undercover CAS agent checking to see if you will violate the NDA.
Got one from a different account name
lol I like the way you think
Iāve gotten multiple messages already (one being from helpmeparty), and Iāve emailed the mods about it. Itās also quite easy to file an NDA violation report on CAS if you feel so inclined.
I canāt believe there are some people that are doing that.
I hope CAS and GoActuary work together to catch that person(s). Iām already annoyed by how people could be getting exams with varying levels of difficulty, let alone cheaters!
I got the messages too.
Theyāre so blatant that Iām also of the opinion it could be CAS. Call me a conspiracy theorist if you want ![]()
I donāt think they will get any useful info from those IMs
After seeing this exam, I really wouldnāt be surprised!
Also, Iām totally not a narcā¦but if I were, how would I contact the mods?
I bet all this knowledge sharing happens more often than I think in large companies with many actuarial students taking the same exams at the same time.
Did the CAS announce multiple versions of the exam or is that speculation?
They announced it in their big education pathway announcement last month
They announced that they were heading in that direction, but I didnāt see anything pertaining to the current exam window.
They literally said in that pathway announcement that they implemented it in Spring 2021, if you read through all the materials.
