Jokes aside, I do think it was fair.
We did get notified of these PM’s, thanks and I passed it on to the mods. Some of the mods are credentialed, and they all take the exam rules seriously.

Agreed, I thought it was a hard exam but fair. I think I have a shot at passing but know I was underprepared so I’m expecting a 5. If I had 3-4 more weeks, exam wouldn’t have been too bad, but that’s on me (and partially CAS for taking so long to grade Spring!)
Respectfully disagree. If I had another month of studying it wouldn’t have made a difference at all, and in my mind that tells me all I need to know about the quality of the exam. But to each their own I guess. Good luck. BTW, I say this thinking I’m also yet again on that 5/6 border.

I thought that this sitting was incredibly difficult and adding more hours would not have been enough to prepare myself for what actually was asked. But, I managed to actually put an answer down for every question so we’ll see how it turns out in 8 weeks I guess

When are we allowed to discuss the exam more generally?
Also, I wish this was offered again in spring. I expect to fail but I’m more driven than ever to start studying for this again.

Rough exam. What are we thinking the pass mark will be? I estimated my points at the end to be around 78-79% with a ~4 point buffer assuming a 70-71% pass mark. So if were around a 70% pass mark I think I got a decent shot. If its something high like 73-74% then its 50/50. I was able to get something down for every question but I know a handful of those were wrong.

So… 1 hour into the exam, the power goes out, shutting down all the computers. Power comes in within seconds, but no internet for an hour. Stayed in the testing room for an hour hoping for the comeback… Well, proctors released us as they did not think internet will be back in few minutes.
Calling Pearson Vue customer service and they cannot re-register the appointment as I was in the middle of the exam. Created a case and they estimate it will take about 7 days.
Exam 8 deadline is 10/29/2021. I have no way of re-scheduling this. Anybody experienced this and willing to share what happened after this kind of issue?
Step 1 is probably call the CAS.

Did contact the CAS and they wrote back in an hour..!!
They are trying to schedule to take next week if possible.

Similar thing happened on my MAS I, but it was on the last day so I could only be refunded and took it 6 months later. I will try to schedule exams earliest date possible now, If they actually can do something about it given that the session is still ongoing.
Such a nightmare scenario. I’m glad you got it rescheduled!
