We’ve had some success posting stuff on Marketplace.
And my wife has made some pretty good finds…she found a new, but opened box, light fixture from some fancy brand for $40. The light is worth $650 new. Showed it to my friend who’s an interior designer/electrician and he said it’s the real deal and was indeed new and uninstalled.
i just got a sponsored ad for… for… the SOA!!! They’re trying to get to the young’uns with their hip and groovy advertising!!!

Yeah, I’m beginning to spend an inordinate amount of time hiding and blocking ads/advertisers.
And I’m now seeing ads from sites I blocked from seeing. What’s up with that?
When I go to hide/block it has a different menu than the normal one.
Is this your first SOA ad on fb? I’ve been getting them for YEARS
I also get Academy ads.
It’s only in the last year or so where I’ve been getting them. I have seen AAA ads only rarely.
I got some suggestion about breastfeeding after my rant the other day.

i’ve never gotten an ad for any actuarial society. but now that i’m posting this, i’m expecting to be inundated with them.
