Epstein and Trump's Wonderful Secret

I can’t find the meme image for it, but while doomscrolling this morning, I did come across someone observing that if Congress officially adjourns for US Thanksgiving weekend, our Glorious Leader gets an opportunity for a pocket veto (and some recess appointments).

Don’t they need all the files for their investigation into the relationship between the Clinton’s and Epstein?

Don’t we have a thread on bad uses for Excel?

Legal Eagle on the supposed imminent release of the Epstein Files and why we shouldn’t hold our breath.

After Attorney General Pam Bondi’s botched attempt to release “Phase 1” of the Epstein files in February, Patel ordered around 1,000 FBI agents to team up and dedicate extensive hours to adding more to “Phase 1” and preparing “Phase 2” of the files for release.

In the emails obtained by Bloomberg, FBI officials received continuous updates on agents reviewing documents that needed to be redacted, surveillance photos the Justice Department took during its investigation into Epstein and the infamous video of the hallway outside of Epstein’s jail cell before he died. By March 24, FBI personnel were preparing “Phase 2” for “final delivery” to the Department of Justice. That appeared to be completed around May 2, when FBI agents in New York sent the Information Management Division the “Epstein Overview FINAL.”

However, “Phase 2” was ultimately never released, and by July, the Department of Justice released a memo stating that “no further disclosures” were warranted after agents thoroughly reviewed the Epstein files. Shortly after, Bondi and Trump urged the public to “move on.”

1000 FBI agents, $850,000 in overtime, and extensive hours? One of those is bullshit.

I mean…

  1. 1,000 agents were tasked
  2. They worked many hours inclusive of their 40-hour salaried weeks
  3. Overtime for this project totaled $850,000

Nothing there needs to contradict.

Not sure how much an FBI agent makes, hourly, but:

  1. $850,000 is not that much, in the grand scheme of things.
  2. $850,000/1000 = $850
  3. Assuming $50/hr regular, so $75/hr for overtime, and extra 11 hours per agent, about two hours longer for one week.
  4. So, “extensive hours” is the bullshit answer.
  5. “1000 agents” could also be bullshit.
  6. $850,000, while somewhat precise, could be bullshit.

Seems that tRump and pals have squeezed what they could from those in the Files, “redacted” their names due to “ongoing investigations” in exchange.
So, NOW they can be release the Files, which now includes only those who couldn’t pony up the dough.

That was my thought/analysis, generally.

Too bad for Maxwell that judges don’t care about her.

Oh noes, that file could incriminate me. Moreso!

The photo of the desk, there is a framed picture that looks like a girl who is passed out???

Noam Chomsky and Steve Bannon, courtesy of the Epstein estate. Burn them all.

None of this is really surprising to me tbh.

The higher up the money scale you go, the more deviant behavior you will encounter eventually.

Back in the day of my parents, these people were black-listed by the majority of their existing circle due to their behaviors.

Over time, it seems that this has changed and they have gotten much better at hiding it from the public (either by using their influence to give themselves cover or via a friend)

Epstein seems to have been very adept at this from what the pictures show.
