If a verbal misstatement and correction qualifies as “darndest” from the Democratic Party, I can live with that.

Learning moment: it needs to be written exactly as you will be saying it. Using "I"s for Ones in a speech (or two ones for “two”), for someone whose first language is not English, is stupid.
