I really don’t want Newsome leading the ticket.
Isn’t this mostly meaningless til Jan 2027 when the field starts filling out? Newsom’s leading because he’s the only one actively campaigning.
And there can be surprise candidates. Maybe even someone currently outside politics? It happened in Canada with Mark Carney so surely US can be as innovative.
He’s the only democrat who has consistently and effectively been lampooning Trump on social media which is why he’s leading the field right now.
But as Fish_Actuary points out it’s kind of meaningless other than he’s shown he can be part of the field when there is one forming in early 2027 if he wants.
It also happened here recently but in the GOP…
Can we borrow Mark Carney for a bit please? I mean if we’re gonna ignore the Constitution, might as well go for it.
I just read that this crowd wasn’t actually predominantly Black, but was actually mostly white and that these pictures are deceptive.
Looking at your source, it’s reposted on Yahoo from what looks like a National Enquirer-style tabloid (Wealth of Geeks). I tried to find a media bias checker that would grade its accuracy, but found none considering it news.
Are there credible sources claiming what you posted?

Fixed.
Here is the retort. Cover your ears, faint-of-heart:
Newsom offered a profanity-laced retort to Hannity, accusing him of long ignoring President Trump’s racist remarks and social media posts, then feigning outrage at Newsom’s remarks.
“You didn’t give a shit about the President of the United States of America posting an ape video of President Obama or calling African nations shitholes — but you’re going to call me racist for talking about my lifelong struggle with dyslexia?” Newsom posted on X. “Spare me your fake fucking outrage, Sean.”
Guessing the response of the retort will be: “Oh, my virgin ears! No one should talk or post that way and run for President! Only talking about grabbing someone’s pussy is allowed!”
Good retort by Newsom
Happy to vote for anyone who has any chance of winning, not that I know what that means anymore.
