I learned today that Amazon sells at home PCR tests for $40/test. You administer yourself, then ship to the lab and find your results a day or so later.
“Alexa, tell me if I have Covid?”

Not illegal. Just an fyi.
tracking says my Binax Now tests are out for delivery today!
MA apparently going to start giving out free test to all students soon, so that’s cool.
We got a couple of those a few months ago, have not used yet. Wonder how long they last for? Also have a couple iHealth. Actually used an Ellume, they use bluetooth to connect to your phone for some reason. That was how they reported the results and sent an email.
iHealth has an app, but i think it’s just instructions. At any rate, i ignored it, followed the written instructions, and it seemed to work fine.
Our district is passing out 1 test box/kid (2 tests/kid). The catch is you have to go to the school to get it and they are not sending home with the kids. I just got back from picking them up.
Well, my clinical study wanted me to get a PCR test. They did both the swab-deep-into-the-sinuses test and the nostril test, which seemed odd. They didn’t swab my tonsils, which also surprised me a little.
I’ve had negative rapid tests. I expect this will be negative, too, but now I’m curious.
One set of kits came, waiting on the other set.
guys, i’m now the proud owner of SIX BOXES OF Binax NOW!!!
with testing tents all over the place here, i really don’t need these, but i think i’ll rather test myself than go out even though it looks really easy.
Should have gotten some at Walmart.com when they were in stock. Want to take advantage of the free testing from my insurer. But I was lazy and didn’t want to go grab my wallet.
The BinaxNOW tests that I ordered from Walgreens were supposed to be delivered yesterday, but since I had been out of town, I had a mail hold, so they’ll be held until Tuesday.
But the tests I ordered from Amazon, which weren’t supposed to arrive until after the 20th, arrived today. So it worked out.
Seems like both Amazon and Walmart have had the on/go kits available online lately with modest shipping delays. They are a little more expensive.
Amazon is showing iHealth kits available now too.
Starting on January 19th, you can order up to 4 tests for free from the government.
sweet. if my 12 BinaxNOW tests aren’t enough i’ll have more backup!!!
Ordered a couple tests from this site today (my lung feels itchy now).

I don’t know if this site is in that stock tracker posted earlier… seems like no.
there was a full stock of BinaxNOW tests at the Walgreens down the block from me, so I assume they are easy to get now elsewhere.
My state also offered free covid tests. I ordered mine Thursday and recieved 5 boxes of iHealth kits on Sunday.
The program is now out of stock
EXCEPT AFTER C!!!
I just bought a 2-pack rapid testing kit at my local pharmacy.
