This is why I don’t travel. Weird food all over the place.
We have a place here called Jet’s that makes it. It’s pretty good, gives me REALLY bad stomach cramps after though, way too greasy.
You shoulda seen the crowd at the Domino’s!!! One line for ordering and one for pickups and they still told us they needed to stop taking new orders for 15-20 minutes!!! Ima just donate some $$, but I’m still ordering from the Domino’s by my place!!! I see some reheating in my future!!!
Ya know, we should go for sushi with JFG. It’d be a blast!!!
Thumbs up on Detroit style pizza, thumbs down on STL style IMO
Never heard of Detroit-style nor St. Louis style.
Only familiar with Chicago-style deep dish and New York style with a very thin floppy crust.
Guess I don’t get out much.
I’ve never heard of either, either.
Detroit style doesn’t look very appealing. I like the bready part of the crust. It’s a clean place to hold the slice, and if the crust is good, it’s delicious.
But it sounds like there’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just missing the outside bit.
St. Louis pizza sounds like i wouldn’t enjoy it. For starters, I’m not a fan of oregano. And there’s way too much topping. And while i do enjoy my matzo pizza every passover, the crust sounds like it doesn’t add anything.
I prefer fresh pizza but will not turn up my nose at leftover pizza. I usually eat it cold from the fridge, but sometimes I’ll microwave it a little. I’m too lazy for other heating methods. Papa John’s is a hard no for pizza tho. Overpriced and tastes horrible.
You replace that with a crispy edge where the cheese burns against the edge of the pan. It’s a worthy trade off IMO.
Hmmm, i try to avoid burning the cheese when i make grilled cheese, because burnt cheese tastes gross. You aren’t convincing me.
Ahh, I see, there’s something wrong with you LOL!
Has anyone mentioned in-n-out yet
Or Whataburger, nothing here is even close to the level of Whataburger
Whataburger is pretty solid, after you sit down they wander around the store offering you sauces from the tray. Hard to beat that.
I tried the McD’s spicy chicken this week, was recommended by a friend. Compared to CFA, the chicken was less crispy outside and less tender inside. The sauce was decent, good level of spice, but I cannot recommend this unless there isn’t a CFA nearby.
Also, I just now noticed that McDonald’s is mis-spelled in the thread title.
By popular demand, I have fixed a typo in the topic title.
But now what will we talk about!?
People who eat krispy kremes for breakfast?
I don’t know why people get excited over doughnuts in general, much less Krispy Kreme. It’s a doughnut. Big whoop. I think the same about Chick-Fil-A. It’s a chicken sandwich. Oooooh.
You had me in the first half. The CFA comment is fightin’ words.
I do appreciate that they have lemonade as a soft drink option.
