You can now get smart glasses with built in ChatGPT
Me: Rate the Pokemon League Conference names: Indigo Plateau Conference, Silver Conference, Ever Grande Conference, Lily of the Valley Conference, Vertress Conference, Lumiose Conference, Manalo Conference
ChatGPT: Sure, here’s a rating for each of the Pokémon League Conference names:
These ratings are subjective, of course, and based on personal preference. Some names may resonate more with fans than others.
This one is going bankrupt
Not a tom tom…
what is the best route to take to get from SLC to MSP by car
Clearly, ChatGPT does not source from Google Maps.
I wonder if anyone has ever intentionally taken that route?
Michael Scott, perhaps.
I’m going to go on record and claim that the route listed by ChatGPT was actually determined by the inclusion of trucking companies. Because the route listed is totally something I can see happening for a long-haul trucker.
Unless I’m missing something here, this part of the route is not logistically possible without an unlisted major backtrack
Once you go north on I 25 in Cheyenne, you shouldn’t be going anywhere near Denver.
In Cheyenne, Wyoming, merge onto I-25 N. Continue on I-25 N through Wyoming and Colorado, eventually entering Wyoming. In Denver, Colorado, take exit 207B for I-76 E toward Fort Morgan.
I noticed that too . . . but I attribute it to “damn autocorrect” . . . not even ChatGPT is immune from that monster.
What happens when a wizard casts the IBNR spell
ChatGPT
It appears you’re using a metaphorical reference to “IBNR” as if it were a magical spell in a fantasy context. In reality, IBNR (Incurred But Not Reported) is a financial and actuarial concept used in the insurance industry, and it has no connection to magic or wizardry.
I tried…
yeah but we’re just 100k short of goal. Are you sure there’s no wizardry?
Is there an online seminar that somebody has taken to help learn CHATGPT-4? I have to jump in on this stuff I think.
Just making stuff up:
Sunshine Tax: In Spain, there’s a tax on the amount of sunlight that reaches your property. The more sunlight, the higher the tax, which seems counterintuitive in a sunny country.
I asked it for unusual taxes around the world.
Imo, there’s one very obvious use that people everywhere seem to be missing: Chat-GPT can proofread your work.
It may not be great, or even good, but it’s better than nothing.
I say that as I recently found Nate Silver on Substack, and whiles he’s insightful as ever, he doesn’t have (enough) proofreaders.
My default is Grammarly.
Which is good enough, but it doesn’t understand my text well enough, given the topics I write about.
OpenAI’s board is getting rid of the CEO, replacing him with CTO, and also removing the company President from the board (but otherwise keeping him in his role).
OpenAI's board of directors said Friday that Sam Altman will step down as CEO and that technology chief Mira Murati will become interim CEO.
