okay, $20 was what i was thinking. i’ll go with that. thanks for the input!
i wasn’t sure if like 15-20% was expected. that seems like too much.

he’s helping me a lot with my confusion. i think i’ll give him $40
or $45.
Here’s still there now? At this rate you should just order dinner
he’s been here for 3.5 hours so far! he has to leave in a half our at the latest. I got pt at 6.
Wow, I wouldn’t normally spend money on assembly but this sounds well spent
assembly was $300. i’m talking tip.
What’s it look like???
Also you all that set in those solid wood chairs all day are crazy. Those things gotta be messing with you quite a bit.
The file cabinet is in the back. I just ordered a keyboard/mouse combo to use rather than the laptop one cause the setup wont work well with my laptop as the main screen. I also had to order an hdmi cable cause the cables it came with dont work with my laptop at all. The dude who put it together checked it with the hdmi cable currently being used for my cable tv and that works, so I bought another one.
Also the dude who put it together said the clamp on extra power is dumb and i shouldn’t use it, but if i do want to use it, it’s easy to put on myself, so i let him leave that off. he said i should have bought this other power strip that attaches. wish i had someone to advise me. also said that the wire management stuff i bought is unnecessary. also said that the modesty panel i got for free is an eyesore and convinced me not to use it. after i ordered it, i was thinking it was something i didn’t really want, so that didn’t take much convincing.
i’m not entirely sold on the keyboard tray. i think it gets in the way of my legs folding. he said he could remove it, but i left it for now. he told me how to remove it if i need to.
they forgot to include the “stability crossbar” that’s supposed to come with the commercial frame that I paid an extra $80 for thinking I was too short for the regular one (which I’m likely not). not sure if i should contact them. I’m not going to attach it myself, but they should probably give me a price adjustment since I did not get it. The guy who assembled it said it’s unnecessary, but still.
Yeah, even when I was 20, and had one in my dorm, I found it uncomfortable to sit in it for too long.
Looks nice. I hope you enjoy it.
thanks
i’m so damn paranoid that i caught covid from this guy. no reason for him to have covid and he didn’t cough even once. i outright asked him like, you don’t have covid right? it was so awkward.
he said no, and that he has a family and none of them have covid either, so hopefully he really does not. i left a window open the entire time. i wore a mask. he had a mask, but it kept falling below his nose!!! he kept pushing it back up, but still wear a mask that fits!
i kept the window open for 4 hours after he left and then it was freezing so i closed it. i assume that’s enough.
Looks really comfy! Hopefully your body appreciates it!! I bet it will.
Why don’t you flip the desk 180 so you’re looking outside when you’re working?
What size did you go with for the desktop? 60"? Looks nice Hope you like yours as much as I like mine.
outside view is terrible from my apartment. it’s a wall and to the side a courtyard. I wanted an even better view of my tv
the guy who set it up seemed a bit confused by that decision too.
