I am getting concerned that nobody sane will stop this guy.
If they get rid of the Polio vaccine (amongst others), that could mean thousands of potential cases in the future.

Make Polio Great Again?
I’m worried about Trump for a lot of reasons. Polio vaccine is way down the list.
During an appearance last weekend on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Mr. Trump said he was open to a review of vaccines and autism. But he singled out the polio vaccine as a potential exception.
“The polio vaccine is the greatest thing,” Mr. Trump said. “If someone told me get rid of the polio vaccine, they’re going to have to work really hard to convince me.”
Trump was 8 when the Salk vaccine was approved. I’ll bet it was a big deal in his household and his parents were quick to get him vaccinated.

Polio transmits in the wild in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It’s going to be a hard sell that part of making America great again means we need to align to them.
Certainly my folks were thrilled when their children started getting the Salk polio vaccine in the 1950s. The Canadian schools had a very active vaccination program for many diseases.

I’m a year younger than Trump, I can remember it, too. I vaguely think we had an open vaccination day at my school.
I meant that Trump picks out polio due to his personal childhood experience. Nothing like an anecdote to support a decision.

In Ontario, in the 1950s and 1960s, the county medical doctor would go around to all the rural schools administering vaccination shots as recommended. Everyone rolled up their shirtsleeves: I don’t think there was an option to decline. Parents didn’t need to sign permission slips.
Very different now, of course.

I hope Trump appoints Ted Cruz as ambassador to Elsewhere so we can get him out of the Senate.
