imo, they’re good at room temperature but great out of the freezer.
Ok, Halloween on my block was fucking HOPPIN’ man. Ran out of candy by 7:15 PM (the same candy that OddSox HID ON ME AND DIDN’T TELL ME HE BOUGHT 10 DAYS AGO - I was shook).
Anyways, people were out in their driveways full force with fire pits, country music blaring, and (apparently) there were Jello shots and boozed up hot chocolates on the perimeter route. I was manning the table and a little jealous.
Note: We actually had the kids this year. 10 went out, 13 stayed home with me. 10 wanted me to trick or treat with her but I wanted dad to go in case it was the first and last time we got them for Halloween before they both age out.
Will have to try that.

Dammit, you guys. Last year we had dozens of kids stop by, this year we had two.
I ate a Twix at 9:00 last night, so I’m down to 57 full-size candy bars. Swing by if you need a sugar fix.

why would you buy candy that people in this thread like if you don’t like it? i don’t like reese’s peanut butter cups or any candy with peanut butter. no way i’d be giving that out for halloween, had i participated. junior mints all the way.
OH speaking of Twix, 10 is on a rampage trying to convince me that Left and Right Twix are different w.r.t. caramel and cookie proportions because YouTube told her so. She’s adamant that simply comparing a Left and Right Twix will confirm this very true fact.
She also showed me the video yesterday… and I did not know how to react since she was looking at me like “I told you so” and I was like… “I do not think… that person.. is a reliable source… of this… information…”
Sounds like some hands-on experimentation is in order.

I didn’t see the original post but I would also now like to propose a duel.
For science!!! I have only one pack of right Twix, but six packs of left Twix. So the sample size may not be credible.
What is the plan here? Should I try to gently saw them all in half and examine the cross section to estimate the proportions?

I am digging the mixed M&M’s small bags. It has 3-4 different nuts (and choc) vs the same!
Eh, I like to get candy the kids will like. But we never get many kids. Next year I should just get full-sized candy bars. That’s a nuisance, because the grocery store only carries bags of little ones (and boxes of 6 Hershey’s bars, marketed for s’mores.) But I could just suck it up and buy 20 individual candy bars.
oh, did people in this thread claim that kids like reeses pb cups? i did not like them, even as a kid.
