Advice needed. Best Halloween candy

ive had fewer than a dozen total kids. WAY down compared to normal. (2019& prior)

I don’t get it. There is no school tomorrow (teacher development day) in our district. Kids should be lighting it up!

Just getting ready to start here. Taking advantage of the fact that it’s 80 degrees out and sitting on a camp chair in front of the house to give out candy.

Fire truck just pulled up across the street - taking a bunch of stuff inside. An older gentleman lives there…

Hope he’s ok. Downer on Halloween.

Kids here are cute. Neighbors are crazy impressed by our Jack-o-lantern. Um, it’s just a haunted house design from stencils. Glad they like it though.

Probably the first time in my entire life that anyone’s been legitimately impressed by anything I did in the realm of visual arts. :woman_shrugging:

Hopefully a good sign!

I think I ate too much of the leftover candy

We put out 11 different kinds of candy. No love for the Junior Mints.

As usual, we had 0 trick or treaters.

Made it through both Costco bags of candy and lights are out. Fewer than last year though, not sure why (kids have off of school tomorrow too).

Kids got full size candy bars from five different houses in my neighborhood - making me look bad

I’m gonna make the case for full size next year, although I’m not sure where to buy them in bulk around these parts without a Costco membership

Our strategy is variety. We spread them out on a table and told kids to pick 3.

The great thing about the milk allergy - someone needs to take the chocolate off his hands…
