I’m also still playing Tospeke in our first game. Single Rook ending with him up an h pawn and then both of us have a-d pawns. Taking awhile but the outcome is still unclear.
I haven’t played any chess of note since college and never played tournaments.

Are bullet games reviewable like daily-move games are? I don’t suppose you still have the link from that game. That would be entertaining to watch.

Bullet games are reviewable in the same way as others. Take them with a grain of salt. One of the reasons I love bullet games is because 2000 level bullet games can have the feel of 1200 level over the board games, with both sides blundering full pieces or missing mate in one.

Joined the club (i think) but can’t figure out how to view it via the app.
I use chess.com on my phone and not an app, but to get there I go hamburger->Connect->Clubs. Then Actuarial Chess Club shows up as my (only) club.
Finally found the correct navigation in the app. Have to go to:
Tournaments → Daily → Connect → Clubs
Going through the Tournaments/Daily is apparently like a backdoor to the website via the app or some such. Anyway, I’m on there if anyone wants some wins. I know the rules/handful of openings/basic principles, but that’s about it. Same handle, ALivelySedative
I can’t even find tournaments on my app. In my experience other than making moves in current games, the app isn’t great and the website has full functionality.

Hm. Im on iPhone but I have ‘Tournaments’ listed in the main menu options (have to tap the 3 horizontal lines icon thing at top-left to get the menu up). If I run into issues I’ll end up using the site I’m sure. Wish it wasn’t blocked at work though.

It looks like we need two players to go to group B. @Bro is choosing group C, and CappaFan looks to no be joining this season. Any volunteers from group C? I don’t necessarily want to put the highest rated players in there since that would be unfair to group B players, so I’ll just take the first two volunteers.
I clicked on the link to see the group and that must have made me join it. Feel free to kick me out of one group, or I guess I’ll play both?
Ah I see why people are joining now… I’ll kick you out. Once the tournaments begin everyone will be able to check in on what’s happening in each group.
Just waiting on one more person to join the B group from the C group. Then I’ll be able to start the tournaments for everyone. At that point I’ll create a tournament specific thread where we can talk about games and such.
