Cut down roses sign with my axe

You return to the Old Pond Road and decide to destroy an ancient sign for no reason other than a desire to destroy. The old sign falls down easily, since the wood has been in the elements for decades. You now have a brittle old sign.
You are on the Old Pond Road. Exits are NORTH, SOUTH, WEST.

Go back to old man in cave

Throw old brittle sign in the fire

Game Saved!

You go back into the rowboat and row to the cave. You get out of the boat and enter the cave, only to see a mostly put out fire and no crazy hermit. Seeing if you can start the fire back up, you throw in the old sign. It takes a few minutes, but eventually catches flames and gives you a few minutes of warmth.
You are in a cave. Exits are NORTH.

You look around the cave and see nothing notable besides the dying campfire.

Hang on, where did Rosemary go? Has she been following us this whole time? And if so, did she conquer her fear of the dark cave!?

I think she’s just waiting where we let her out of the boat.

Unless she ran off with old hermit boy after we didn’t propose to her

You don’t see anything in the dying fire except for ashes.

I’m going to be unexpectedly out tomorrow, and probably most of the rest of today. But I’ll be back on Monday!

With axe raised, charge down the road opposite to the pond

You get back in the row boat, jump out brandishing your axe, and run NORTH down the Old Pond Road, running past the town and directly to the moat in front of Action Castle. You are standing in front of the moat of Action Castle, with your sharpened axe lifted above your head. You notice something moving in the water. Exits are WEST.

How feasible is carrying the boat to the moat?
