Approach the troll with Pat raised above our head, ready to fling Pat sideways to lure the troll from the bridge

You approach the bridge carefully, holding Pat above your head. The troll appears to only have eyes for the fish. You quickly fling Pat off the side of the bridge, and thankfully the troll jumps after, quickly scooping up Pat and running away. Unfortunately as Pat is flying through the air you make eye contact and realize that Pat hadn’t died yet. You see intelligence in those eyes, and an extreme sadness. You will forever be haunted by the look in those eyes, and how Pat’s gaze pierced your soul.
You are standing on a drawbridge. Exits are West and East (across the bridge).

You are in the courtyard of Action Castle. A castle guard stands watch to the east. Stairs lead up into the tower and down into darkness. Exits are West, East, Up, and Down.

I understand there’s all sorts of enjoyable leisure activities that can take place under the bridge. But we lost 2 days going fishing, so now probably isn’t the time to get into heroin.
