Day 20, 20 burpees, 210 total burpees for challenge
(I kind of lost count mid set, pretty sure I got 20 or more in the end)
ETA day 20, 55 burpees, 245 total burpees for challenge. Did a set of 35 later in the day because my work out song came on, really winded at 35, so will have to either improve or do split sets in about 2 weeks
As expected, 0 for the weekend. Likely to be true most weekends, so need to ensure I do not miss any more weekdays.
35 today, 57 behind.
3 sets, with a six mile run between sets 2 and 3.
Sets of 12 burpees makes me breath much harder than the run
Still on one set, though I took a 1-second break after both 10 and 20 to slide my counters over. The chance of me losing count increases after about 20, so I need to use something to keep track of where I am. Generally it’s something to keep track of 10s, 5s, or 1s. Today was 2 dimes and a penny
I’m hit and miss on actually getting them done, but am catching back up decently. Doing sets of 20, managed to get a couple sets into a few different days. The ‘40’ for today is still dependent on doing 20 more tonight, but this is me comitting to actually getting them done.
35 today. 43 behind.
Did 15 first set, but then did shorter rest and next two sets were 10 each.
I keep expecting rapid improvement despite years of experience telling me that is not how my body works.
You’re telling me. When I get back to running 6+ miles on a Saturday morning, I’m going to do whatever I can never to drop below that level. I never want to have to “get in shape” again. this sucks.
goal is to stay on-track every day, no working ahead, no falling behind. So far, 22/22.
Also, did 22 in one set, no breaks, fairly rapidly like about 3.1 s / rep. Not bad for a 44-year-old man at 240 pounds. Looks like I may have a good shot at winning the 25-for-time.
Day 23- 50 burpees, 700 total. Plan is to just do 50 a day until we catch up to 50 then I’ll go up. Doing this I get 4,241 compared to total goal of 4,095, so get all my rest days plus a couple days to spare in case something comes up.
