I realized this weekend that I am not likely to be able to do burpees while out of town so decided to bump from 25 to 40 instead of 25 to 30. I won’t get all of the extras done in advance (especially when I accidentally miss a day) but I should be able to make up the extras after I get back.
today was tough. I’m not feeling well (congestion and lethargic), so I really don’t want to do much at all. Did 3 on the minute for 9 minutes, though, and got done.
Day 28, 28 burpees, 441 total burpees for challenge (bank of 35)
I keep feeling on the last couple burpees like tomorrow I’ll have to split into two sets, but I also keep making it in one (although I’m a lot slower than you guys)
Sets of 30 proving tough, but I can get through that. Got me back over pace for a bit though. Other HH members have had covid this week and I’ve somehow stayed negative with no symptoms to this point. Not sure if I should lay off excercise to let me keep fighting it off? Probably won’t matter. Also probably won’t excercise while I have it if I do get it, but we’ll see.
Getting back in the game today. Going to take it very slowly and carefully. I’m also going to continue abstaining from pushups for a while (which is what I think was the main cause for my pain, not the burpees which were small in amount in comparison).
