the HOU/NE game was ugly. uglier than that even. a few cool offensive plays (the last TD was an awesome catch). D-Lines were having field days with the O-Lines.
That NE could make the super bowl is unbelievable to me. That the team they play will be led by (checks notes) Jared Stidham at QB is even harder to believe. As a fan of NE, it has been a hard to believe year in a good way. Just bonkers.
If Hawks can get by the Rams next week their SB opponent will be one of the two teams (DEN or NE) that they played in their last two SB visits. Patriots would be a revenge game.
I’m sad to see this Bears season come to an end but thankful for one of the most exciting sports seasons I’ve ever witnessed. My text threads were blowing up almost every week. Honestly, we were playing with house money after that second miracle comeback against the Packers.
The 3 teams I follow (Bears, White Sox, Blackhawks) have been bottom of the league garbage for the last 3-4 years, and this was actually the first time one of them has had a winning season since the 2021 White Sox. It feels good to be talking about something at the end of a season other than draft position.
I heard that dumbass actually got promoted instead of drawn and quartered. All they need is to hire a non-offensive-minded coach to waste the rest of Allen’s good years, and it’s back to rebuilding mode for another generation. #fullcircle#theleaguewillneverallowsmallteamstowin
Niners choosing to believe shit debunked by scientists:
That includes an investigation into the viral conspiracy theory that the electrical substation near their training facility and Levi’s Stadium is contributing to those injuries, general manager John Lynch said Wednesday.
“Because it deals with allegedly the health and safety of our players, I think you have to look into everything,” Lynch said. “We’ve been reaching out to anyone and everyone to see, does a study exist other than a guy sticking an apparatus underneath the fence and coming up with a number that I have no idea what that means? That’s what we know exists. We’ve heard that debunked. … The health and safety of our players is of the utmost priority. We pore into it. Our ownership, Jed [York] is tremendous in terms of resources, and we’ll always be cognizant of things. I know that a lot of games have been won at this facility since it opened, but yeah, we aren’t going to turn a blind eye.”
The theory has been shot down by various scientists and medical professionals. Frank de Vocht, a professor of epidemiology and public health at Bristol Medical School in England, is considered a leading expert on how EMF affects humans and told The Washington Post that the theory is “nonsense.”
“Yeah? What do YOU know about football, and I mean REAL Football, not played with feet except when we REALLY need to? Probably never played, so everything you say is crap!”
Still, the 49ers’ injury issues over the past decade or so are robust enough to take nothing off the table.
They should look into how strong the prayerizing they do at the end of each game, take measurements of the faith. Angry God gonna put money against the Niners if they don’t up their belief in Him/Her/Them. Are they first and foremost thanking God during their post-game interviews? Probably the heathen fans, too liberal and agnostic.
