2025 NFL Football Thread

The nix news is bonkers. Have to rewatch that play to aee what happened.

But also, can Beanbrain FINALLY draft a top-tier WR already?? If you took a drink every time some dumbass said “Josh put his cape on” your liver would be vaporized by now.

if he lost that ball going to the ground, i believe it would have been an incomplete pass, as there was no football move.

so, using that logic i see how it would be an interception

was in a bar, so didn’t hear the coverage

To me it looked like they both had possession as he landed, and denver guy was in the process of tearing it out when they got to the ground.

In the meantime, I think I can get behind Seahawks winning it all. They’ve worked hard to stop being an afterthought. They earned it.

Good choice as the only blowout game so far.

Because the ball never hit the ground.

right, it ended up with the defender.

the reciever did not maintain control to the ground.
that is not a catch.

the fact that someone else took it away doesn’t change that. It just determines possession.

so, you agree with the call?

I think whichever way they called it, it would not be overturned. Feel bad for the Bills though.

ok, i misunderstood

also, for the Bills, it wasn’t just that one call. There was the missed PI on Cooks at the end of regulation and the 2 calls against them in OT. To put in in perspective, the Bill had almost as many PI calls on that drive (2) as they did the rest of the season (4)

That first PI in overtime was a bad call, 2nd one was legit.

Really the difference in the game was that weird fumble thing that Allen did at the end of the half. Gave broncos a gift field goal. Bills win without that.

I agree that the first PI in overtime was dubious. However, it was a 17-yard penalty during a play in which roughing the passer was called, so it is irrelevant and there should not be any focus on it.

The 2nd PI was clearly a correct call.

I agree with PZ on the interception. I think it would have been overturned had it been ruled a completion.

That’s devastating for the Broncos. Maybe Jarret Stidham can find 2 games of Nick Foles magic?

Feels weird to have an AFC Championship game without Mahomes, Allen, Lamar or Burrow

We drained the swamp!

Seriously, how many times can Drake Maye perform the exact same fumble in one game?!?! I feel like I’m stuck on replay.
