That would be surprising, unless he ends up playing a bunch this year and actually shows them something. Would be good to see what Mac can do on the NFL level with some offensive talent around him (WRs in particular).
Fields was never going to Pitt. Itās Atlanta (if Cousins stays in Minny) or wait until after the draft.
Itās down to LV and ATL as potentials if Cousins resigns. Not sure Chicago would trade Fields in division to Min if Cousins goes to ATL.

The rumors about Cousinsā deal: 4 years, with the guaranteed money heavily frontloaded in the first 2 years. Sounds effectively like a 2 year deal with a 2 year team option.

I always liked him, but $13M/yr sounds awfully pricy for what you get. Then again, maybe Fields/Getsy just sucked that much. Hard to say.
He was pretty good a couple years ago. I havenāt watched enough Bears detail to say what caused him to fall out of favor besides getting DJ Moore, who is very good and obviously ate a bunch of targets this season.

I was convinced Heinicke wouls be cut for cap space and I suspect he still might. However they would need another backup if they do. A developmental QB in the draft could be in play
