In the Superbowl era, has any #1 pick QB ever entered into a better situation in terms of offensive personnel than the situation that Caleb Williams walks into with receivers like DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze and Cole Kmet, not to mention a reasonably average Oline, and a couple of decent (though not spectacular) RBs like Khalil Herbert and Deandre Swift?
Usually, #1 pick QBs go to pathetic teams as the first block of a long rebuild.
This seems to be the major problem. And it is simply the only way to ensure an NFL Football championship team.
Caleb has the legs to delay the sack and potentially make them pay for not respecting his running ability. Seems to be a good imitation of Lamar Jackson. Those help compensate for a āreasonably average O-Line.ā

they scored 360 last year. Iām optimistic that they could be 10 TDās & some field goals better with the current offensive roster and a year or two development out of Caleb
Joe Burrow came into a really good situation with AJ Green, Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd and Joe Mixon. Andrew Luck landed in a pretty decent spot as well but neither spot as good as Caleb Williams.
Andrew Luck landed in a horrible place. The O-line was so bad it didnāt matter that his receivers were good. Then Irsay proceeded to not fix it.
Just want to point out that J.B. is a 100% douchebag. That is all.

I think Bengals line was really bad Burrowās rookie year as well.
Cam newton was pretty good situation. Steve Smith, Greg Olsen, Jonathan Stewart/DeAngelo Williams at RB. Jordan Gross/Ryan Kalil on the line.
Eli Manning had a pretty stacked line (Snee, Diehl, OāHara). Tiki Barber, Amani Toomer, David Tyree, Jeremy Shockey were decent weapons too.
Thatās about where I stopped looking.

That might be true. I never voted for the guy. However, his admitting that the State of Ill-i-Noise has no money for this is just facing facts.
