I got a bit lucky with this trade. Based on the trend of Hall vs Cook % of touches at the time, I guessed right that Hall would be more of a bell cow than he had been. He’s been great for me since the trade.
Cousins was solid for my opponent with a QB need, but with the likely achilles tear he’s done. That’s unfortunate bad luck for my trade partner.
I have some Ekeler arbitrage going on, as I need him to do really well (roughly 15 pts) to win one league but need him to not perform amazing (27 pts) to win the other. Hoping to hit that sweet spot!
After having the league high score 2 out of the past 3 weeks, all my players took the week off, except for Joe Burrow. My opponent was below average, and I had picked up the Chargers D. A Chargers defender scooped up a fumble late in the game, and if he didn’t barely step out of bounds at the 2-yd line then I would have won.
I am starting Washington DST in one league, and playing against them in the other. Unfortunately there is a big difference in scoring parameters between leagues which is working to my disadvantage.
Right now WAS has 9 sacks and has allowed 14 points. This gets me 10 points in one league, and gets my opponent 19 in the other. Annoying. It will obviously move a lot with more scoring.
I am definitely the worst manager in my league this year.
Benched Lawrence in favor of Murray.
Streamed Lions instead of Dolphins.
And forgot to have a running back to cover a double RB bye week (JTnT & Bijan on bye). Had to grab Henderson(LAR) off of waivers, as he was best available.
I likely hosed myself for the playoffs by starting Charbonnet over James Cook.
Metcalf also hugely dissapointed, but he was still my best play.
Biggest mistake in management this season was likely three weeks ago when I thought i submitted a waiver claim for Miami Defense when i had the #1 claim.
That i stinging a lot with my must win this week.
I’ve got both of my weeks in the bank, but am hoping for a career night from Hockenson to get high score for the week (in that league, the weekly high score gets paid). It’s highly unlikely I hit it, as I need 34.4 from Hockenson in half PPR.
Actually, my big management mistake was believing that Hawks offense was good, and cutting Baltimore Defense heading before week 9 match-up against the Hawks.
BAL
9 : 23
10: 17
11: 10
12: 20
My team
9: 20(GB) - W (+17.68)
10: 12(CHI) - W(+16.34)
11: 11(DET) - W(+14.24)
12: 7(KC) - L(-8.02)
And the insult to injury for week 12 is my opponent was the team that picked up Baltimore and kicked my butt with them.
If i had started Cook over Charbonnet i would have lost by 1.82 points, which would have been even more frustrating as the SNF game was our last game in our matchup and i had Keenan Allen vs. BAL. That final 4th down stop would have been ghe deciding play.
I think i will drop 4th down stops down to 1 point next season
I’m playing another shitty opponent this week, so not worried too much. Final regular season game the following week in-division against one of the best teams. I’ll try to bring my A-game then and hopefully get into the playoffs (I’m in if I win this week).
I got Kyren back, expected to bring 14 points as my RB2.
Hoping Tyreek gets hurt, so Waddle can get more passes.
I won in one league and will likely win in the other, but that Watson injury hurt. I needed 1 catch for 1 yard to likely get the cash reward for weekly high score when he got pulled from the game.
