2023 Fantasy Football

I survived the loss of JTnT this week, and i am on pace for high score of the week and to swing from 7th to 4th place in overall standings and 2nd in points for.
For high score:
Me–> Lawrence + 12.02
2nd place → Kirk + McManus

My division has tightened up, heading into the final week it is one person at 7-6 & four people at 6-7

My WRs this year are Amari cooper, Deandre Hopkins, Chris Godwin, and Tyler Lockett

I want to kill myself

Rbs are ekeler (been a bum recently), Josh Jacobs, David Montgomery

Only consistent fantasy option I have are Jalen hurts for 20-25 and engram for 5-8 in half ppr

Better luck next year. I’m never drafting a wr with a crappy qb in the first 7 rounds ever again

We are just a 10 team league this year, so there are weeks when crazy things happen.
This week was one of them for me:
DK: 37.40
Collins: 34.10
LaPorta(Bye week/injury replacement for Andrews): 29
Charbonnet: 16.90
Tampa: 17

Everyone else under performed by A LOT.

Lockett would have give you another 12.5 (and the Hawks the win) if he had not dropped the pass at 7:56 in the fourth.

I hit the single game high score for the season in my league at 199.

And looks like a lost Lawrence for the season.
After losing JTnT last week
And MAndrews the week before.

It is that time of the season…

Im in 3 leagues. Almost threaded the needle tonight where mixin got me enough to win 2 but not ao much to drop the other. His last regulation touches were too much. 2-1 for the week

I’m 8-5 in a 14 team league, with 5 other teams there and 2 others at 7-5. This week is the last of the regular season. Due to losing tiebreakers, win this week and I’m in the playoffs but a loss means I’m likely out. If I score big but lose, I could still be in.

I’m 7-6 in the other league, currently in the wildcard spot due to having the tiebreakers edge over 2 other 7-6 teams. There are 2 teams at 10-3 that have clinched. I have 2 games left on the schedule: this week against a 10-3 team and next week against a mediocre team. If I win both I’m in. If I win one of 2 I may still be in but there are a few ways that could play out.

My division in our two division 10 team league is stupid tight right now. I also screwed up and didn’t adjust playoffs properly when we dropped from 12 to 10 teams, so six teams still make the playoffs. Regardless, this is sort of absurd:

This week:
2 vs. 6
5 vs. 7
And I play #10 from other division

Winners in, if 6 defeats 2 and i still have PF lead, i think I get the #2 seed and the first round bye.

In hindsight, i should have had the first week of the playoffs be a play-in game between the 4th & 5th seed

Texans D will be a very valuable streaming option this week

I picked them up in both leagues last week. This week’s matchup is great, but they also have a soft schedule for the rest of the year. @NYJ, @TEN, CLE, TEN is pretty tasty for a DST that was widely available last week.

I have the cowboys d but the schedule is so bad that I don’t want To play them the rest of the year. Do you think I should just drop them?

Dropping DAL depends upon the number of teams in your league, your league’s specific defensive scoring rules, and the available defenses to pick up.

If you are sure you won’t play them, the other considerations are whether there is something better on the waiver wire that is more valuable and whether you’d be concerned if an opponent might use them against you.

In a league I play in with deep benches, the free agents are slim pickings so I might hang onto them. In another with shallow benches, I would probably cut them.

It’s an 8 team league

I kinda want to add zeke and would have to drop someone. Taysom and Schultz are both kinda hurt so I don’t really want to drop either.

In an 8-team league where you aren’t starting them this week, yeah you can drop DAL.

I was wrong: I didn’t notice that there’s another matchup between contenders, so I’ve clinched a playoff berth. It’s virtually impossible for me to get the 1/2 seed with a bye, so this week doesn’t matter much. It matters a lot for my opponent and other teams, as my opponent could get a top seed or get a low seed.

For ten, I feel like Seattle and Houston twice isn’t that great, since stroud has revitalized that franchise

Do you think Hou is a better play than Saints at home vs Carolina?

Both are excellent matchups and a coin flip this week. I would hang onto the Saints regardless as they have another great matchup next week
