It’s a shame that four of you entered after this numbersnuts. Now, he gets the Week 12 award, Random Poster’s Lucky 7, instead of you. The default, which he’d better accept or I’m going to break some fingers, will be to add all seven points to his Week 13 Texans over Browns pick.
He, along with Carrie’s Carebears, @TheArbitrary, @JudgeSmails, & @IPD have also won the Change one future pick award.
Additionally, @3rookie, being in sole possession of last place this week, has won the VALSA (VA’s Lion’s Share Award) which gives him a limited-time-COFP which, if used, must be declared before TNF for a Week 13 game.

Another Proposal for the Award Committee’s Consideration: The Lone Wolf Award 
Award: If you are the only one to have the winning team for a given game, you win a COFP.
Considerations/thoughts for implementation:
- Is this easy to monitor? (If not, then forget it.)
- Must it be based on original picks? (I’d say yes - doesn’t seem right if one could back into it, especially at the end of the season when you might do it on purpose going for the win.)
- Maybe the only potential Lone Wolves would be established at the beginning of season, and if someone joins the Lone Wolf later on, it was “hunted” and no longer is eligible?
- If you can back into it, maybe Lone Wolves are only eligible until Week 14ish?
- Is this too big of an award? Maybe you need 2 Lone Wolf wins for a COFP? (That would seem counter-intuitive, I will admit, needing a pair of Lone Wolves.)
- I think it’d be more interesting to announce the Lone Wolf results after the week is done, because then it’s more of a surprise to find out you were a Lone Wolf (unless the rest of y’all are already tracking everyone’s picks, in which case that might explain why I tend to be in the bottom half… well, that and possibly my less-than-stellar winner-picking abilities, of course.)
At the very least, if the intern is looking for an off-season project, I’d be curious to know what the Lone Wolf records were in the past - that would be good to know if this is too generous of an award or not.

I think I like that one better than the VALSA. But I don’t object to VALSA. I just think Lone Wolf is a fun idea.
