Worldle took me 5 guesses today, largely because it gave me a bad answer after my first guess.

Summary

I guessed Russia, and it told me the answer was 7,106 miles due east of Russia. WTF. I knew it wasn’t Greenland or Canada, and couldn’t think of anything else remotely appropriate so I guessed Greenland next. At least it gave me proper direction after that guess

Hmm that does seem wrong, heading greater than 248?. Totally forget how to compute heading from 2 points on a globe. Probably some trig involved.

Yeah, that does seem wrong. Southeast would make more sense. I was tempted to go with Russia but I remembered that Russia has this little skin tag hanging off the east (a bit like Mexico has Baja California hanging off in the west).
