first guess was conehead homeland, second uk. Wtf between them, oh yeah channel islands. Of cpurse it was my second guess of those, but oh well.

Embarrassed that I took 4, since I’ve been there this year. Got to Central America on guess 2, then guessed wrong on which half of the island (wasn’t convinced it was only half an island anyway. Had I been convinced it was Hispaniola, I would have guessed which half correctly. But at guess 3, I was more concerned about confirming Caribbean

that WTUS photo looked darn familiar. I know the street and angle it was taken from, I used to walk by it when I worked downtown (along the other side).
I was born in Birmingham, but was last there in 1961, Didn’t look familiar
Building in the foreground is now called The Florentine, is an event venue. Not 100% sure, but may have had a gay dance club on 2nd floor in the early 90’s. It is on the SE corner of 2nd Ave N and Arrington (formerly named 21st street). Inage is from traveling w on 2nd N
I realize most people seeing such a quote would think: “How was a person posting on GoA last there before he was born?” Actually lived mostly in Mountain Brook, but born in a Birmingham hospital. Visited grandparents in West End (12th street) every Sunday

In the limited time I’ve been playing wow, I don’t recall ever seeing “Borders”. In the USA version, yes.
