My streak was somehow reset. Again. The NYT site is saying I have only played 9 times. So yesterdays two was lost.

Oh yeah. I only play on my phone on the browser I keep open always. I made the mistake of closing that tab and opening a new one. I had a streak of 30 yesterday, and it’s 9 today. Boo.

3rd word was a mistake, as it didn’t incorporate what I already knew. Then after typing in the 4th word and hitting enter, I thought of a better word for the 4th guess and almost entered that for my 5th word even though my 4th word already proved it wrong. Luckily I stopped myself in time.

w4 was a bs guess trying to use letters, but it apparently was a word. then the known constraints helped find the answer in 5. my starting word is a bad one again.

Feel like I might have been able to get this in fewer guesses, but maybe not. My guess #3 wasn’t designed to get as much new information as possible. Guess #4 was better suited for that purpose.
