Mr Fritz, I had the same problem but 1 guess later. I now have as many 6’s in my history (4) as 2’s.

My usual starter word CHAMP has been really helpful lately. In the first 50-ish games, I only had 2 2’s. Now I’ve had 3 in the past week and a half or so - IIRC all off the same starter word. 
I expect this luck too shall pass

Got lucky today. There were 7 words with the last four letters and I only had 5 guesses (in hard mode)

Oh boy. With hard mode on I had three possible options for the last two guesses. Missed on the first but got lucky on the second.

when you get these types of words, there are usually the more common and less common possibilities.
I feel the more common possibilities are usually more likely to be correct
Today, I felt all the first letter possibilities were all more common and equal
