- Maybe first time ever not solving in 7. Had rejected the successful solution for one word thinking it was not a word, but Google agrees it is.
I got 335. I can see where this one could be hard even if you didnât have the issue of thinking one was not a word. Not sure if this is a spoiler or not, but I will blur it anyway. It really hinged on a couple of letters that were used several times.
- Very frustrating. With 2 strikes I could not think of any possibilities. Wrote out all the combinations of the known and remaining letters. Did not recognize any as words. Decided to take a guess. It was right, though not in the spot I was thinking it might be. Then the last spot was easy. Yes, a word, even though I hadnât recognized it in the list. Currently 1 on the leaderboard.
- 2 strikes, then 1 letter, another strike and then solved it. Go figure.

- It came down to a 50/50. The problem is that I didnât go through all the letters originally to realize it was a 50/50 and thought I was going to get 725. Quite shocked when the X popped up and I realized there was another possibility.
Alas, I also did net get rewarded for my choice.

365 Taking 3 guesses to get the last letter of the center ring
- All my strikes were almost right away. I didnât know the third word was considered a word, but there was nothing else it could be with the letters I had.
Another 725. A couple lucky guesses and a word I wasnât sure about.
Me too. One thing I have noticed is that my statistics are much better on the daily games than the random ones. Not sure if it is that I spend more time as it is only one available a day or if it is the competition.
725 for me too. First time playing on Ipad. Oops. It asked me my username. I wanted the same, though not necessarily expecting it to be allowed. So even though I didnât intentionally choose anything different, Iâm Steve on Ipad and steve on iphone. Yes, a word I wasnât sure of, with 2 letters missing. Even after the first guess was right, I wasnât sure the second would be.
It will let two people choose the same name or in your case one person on 2 devices. I attach a random number to the user name behind the scenes to make the odds of it not being unique very small. Also as you pointed out lower case and upper case are not the same. I did this to not have people take 20 mins to find a user name that hasnât been used. Of course, that was back when I had the dream of getting millions of users. Unfortunately, what it wonât donât is recognize that you are the same person on different devices to combine your stats. I didnât want to make people log in to play which is the way to make that happen.
- Got strike 5 when wrong on a 50-50 guess. Was hoping to say Got 3 strikes before getting STRIKE, but can only say got strike 4 for guessing STRIKE
275 also. I had three strikes until I got to s_ills. Had already taken care of spills and stills as possibilities in solving the other words, but had skills, shills and swills that I could think of as options. Might have been more I couldnât think of. Unfortunately, I picked in that order.
One bad thing about you playing on your iPad and using Steve is that capital letters come before lower case letters when things are programmatically sorted alphabetically using ASCII. When we tied, I used to be ahead of you on the leaderboard just due to sorting. Now I am behind you!

I am sitting here with no strikes and 1 letter left to fill in. Unfortunately, there are 4 possibilities that I can think of. Donât want to make the choice and mess it up.
Did the absolute worse guessing possibly. It was my 4th choice so 335 also.
