Wow, I appreciate your thoughtful discussion of that article. The doctor was not my personal physician, and may have been wanting to encourage me more than giving me his medical opinion. Or he may have read other studies. I’ll still email him.
A friend of mine works in healthcare and had Covid last Fall. She has a blood disease and some concerns about the vaccine so she’s holding off. But she works at a research hospital, so her doctor is monitoring her antibodies to track how long they stay up and adding that data to their research. 6 months and counting so far. Good news for her, I guess.
But not proactively – NSAIDs blunt the immune response, and while that’s unlikely to be a problem if your immune response is so robust that you feel completely miserable, you don’t want to take it unless you need to.
