Who is in DC because of Trump’s influence? A handful of house reps that just turned over a seat? Republicans lost big in 2018.

I think this PAC will be a vehicle to funnel money into his own coffers. Once this election is finalized I have a feeling Republicans may pay him lip service, but they are going to cut these types of ties with him immediately.

That’s exactly what the fundraising right now is about. If you look at the fine print, 60% of the money goes to his reelection campaign’s coffers to retire debt.

It’s not some noble, majestic cause. It’s a final attempt to grift.

Many of these politicians are in DC because of Trump’s influence so they’ll keep giving him attention. Plus without his base in the voting booths it would be tough for some of them to be reelected. The ones who cut ties will be most of the corporations, as their relationship with Trump was purely transactional.

A lot of people who suddenly find their position is only as solid as Trump’s position in the White House are going to realize it’s a whole lot more difficult to find those same sweet gigs elsewhere, where over-the-top sucking up doesn’t make up for gross incompetence.
