made my own Lunchable: roast beef and swiss from the Amish store, along with rosemary olive oil Triscuit … along with the last of the leftover veggie tray veggies on the side
Chong Qing chicken. It burns.
Chicken salad sammich, poppy seed danish, latte.
Hubby’s homemade chicken pot pie
soup & sandwich
wife’s homemade chicken noodle, and leftover lemon chicken, melted provolone, light poppyseed dressing
I’m thinking Subway. :BOGO:
(“BE MINE” (expires 02/16))
Half a BE&C bagel. Unfortunately, it’s from Dunkin, not McD’s, so it doesn’t have that delish sauce.
Crap, I haven’t had one of those at McD’s in forever. I can still kind of picture that sauce, I may have to grab one of these.
I’m getting lunch at a local pub, burgers are $5 off on Monday! I’ve been kind of stuck in a rut and trying to branch out, I’ve only been here once before.
5 Guys cheeseburger + fries.
I keep saying Five Guys is overpriced, maybe it is, but I’m a fan. I usually skip the fries - better for my wallet and my waistline.
I shoveled snow for an hour today, and treated myself to some green curry for lunch.
With Five Guys, you order one portion of fries and you end up getting two due to overspill.
I had bought one of those little pouches of Martha White corn bread mix and noticed it had a recipe for tamale pie. 2 cans of chili, cheese, corn bread mix, bake. So, ok, yeah, I bought the 2 cans of chili and then made it today. Meh, of course, except I found myself getting 2nds, then 3rds. Comfort food, for sure.
make your own
lunch today had wifes chili
I almost always (=not this one time) make my own. It’s a comfort food in its own and I think the recipe is here. That wasn’t the point for this, though.
Left over pot roast, mashed potatoes, carrots, all covered with nice, rich gravy. So goooood!!!
nap time?
I wish. Daddy got some things to take care of this aft.
Left over chili (home made) added some leftover rice (Chinese)
DQ burger - ride the bike there! Glad the cold snap is over, barely needed a jacket today.
