I was in a hurry and had a lot of spinach in the refrigerator, so I made a very spinach-y omelet.
Meeting up with friends for Hungarian food!!

We are going to a hole in the wall Mexican joint we like. I don’t think anything has been remodeled since about 1952.
Yesterday we had lunch at the local dive bar, and tomorrow there’s a decent chance I’ll make a sandwich at the condo for a meal, but today we eat like kings.
Edamame, miso soup with clams, a crab salad (crab, pickled cucumber, seaweed), and this: the 12-piece omakase at Koiso. I haven’t been to Japan, so maybe I’m not calibrated, but this is the best sushi I’ve had to date.
When in Hawaii, my wife will pick up Poke at the local grocery every day and eat it. Also, a pineapple (that will last more than a day).
Foodland or Times store?
Foodland.
The one I went to had, like, five different kinds of poke.
Costco chicken strips from the food court, and some of the wraps with cranberry cream cheese at home.
Last night had a Choice Ribeye from local chain grocer. Meh, even after salting and slow-cooking. The meat just ain’t it.
Lifestyle choice to buy only from local butchery or Costco, but less often. Prime only.
Tonight? Maybe a tuna melt.
Foodland poke is kinda famous, it’s great. We usually shop at the Times, and it’s not bad there either.
BBQ on the beach, just burgers, grilled pineapple, and chips. Plus a cigar and a sunset, it’s a good time. Might have snuck a beer onto the beach.
Nachos, we are at the brewery and they have some apps half off. Pork nachos should do the job.
BBQ with slaw and beans. So goooooood!!! ![]()
I wish I could do that. But I quit smoking and I’m concerned that I’ll backslide.
We had a minivacation with my daughter’s family a couple weeks ago. We were sitting outside in the evening, I’m having a coffee and my son in law sparks up a cigar. Yeah, I would’ve liked one. But, better not.
Pork tenderloin with a cucumber/mango salad and leftover baked beans. Following up with some vanilla ice cream and fresh kiwi/strawberries/blueberries/asian pear. So gooooood!!!

My daughter usually brings home a couple Factor meals late Wed night. So tonight I had shrimp and salmon with that broccoli-like vegetable that’s not broccoli. Pretty good.
A $33 pizza. So we have this place near me, it’s a bakery and coffee shop. It’s legit, they were a James Beard semi finalist. Somewhat recently they started offering pizza on Friday. You get two options, margherita or a pie of the week. Figured it’s worth at least trying once, for $33 I have expectations, lol.
Which one are you getting??? ![]()
The other option today is a white pizza with prosciutto and kale. I’m sharing this with my neighbor, I couldn’t decide so I asked him to, and he said margherita.
I also got the kale Caesar salad.
Takeout provided by an Ecuadorean friend: ceviche, rice, plantains, grilled beef/sausage/chicken, cabbage salad. So gooood!!! ![]()
