Then why don’t I get a nod in your signature?!
I didn’t realize but my phone or my provider actually blocks or sends what it thinks is spam texts to a special spam text folder. I figured it out when it showed I had a new text but when I went in there wasn’t anything new. I went back and there was still a notification for it and when I clicked on the notification it took me to the spam folder. Not sure how to get there other than through the notifications. But so far it is doing a decent job. And I found there is a way for me to mark something as spam as well and it put it in the spam folder.
If you’re on an eye phony, click “< Filters” to go “back”
…
Then you’ll see the various folders, one of which should be Junk…
Yes, my phone puts these in the spam folder
I am actually happy I stayed at home this long weekend in the UK because we had a an ATC failure today that has disrupted all UK flights in/out of the country.
A few of my coworkers and friends are now stuck around European airports trying to get back to the UK.
I wonder if you got COVID before the dry heave, although I haven’t heard of that as a symptom.
sunday was a super lazy easy day for me.
saturday was a lunch at a favorite place before flying home. flight delayed 3 hrs bc…right before takeoff someone puked and made a mess on board so we returned to the gate. glad i have no connecting flights.
friday was remote wfh and funeral services for my cousin (took his own life; not great)
Nausea is a symptom, so very likely Covid is at least partly to blame.
intervals will do that to you if you really push
Not to mention your periodic rail worker strikes. Every time we visit we seem to get caught by one. Can’t believe how long the rail labour battle is taking to settle.
Highly unlikely they will be resolved until 2024 at the earliest.
WFH policies have reduced the revenue from train travel by about £1bn/quarter.
I don’t see Sunak & Co. agreeing to their wage demands given they want zero changes for improvements (sorely needed in the UK). They are asking for inflation busting raises with no increase in productivity, while the taxpayer picks up the subsidy bill.
The UK seems to be stuck in a perennial fight to slow down technological change (due to the older folks), to the detriment of society as a whole.
Not great for productivity unfortunately.
See your sig line…
Woah! Ladder workout alert!
What was the rest between reps and sets?
I prefer a single set of 200, 300, 400, 400, 200 with 5 mins rest after everything
We walked the remaining round about the track. After the 400’s we grabbed water and then walked an entire 400 as well. Tough workout!
