Watched Ricky Gervais’ recent special. I don’t think I laughed at him more than he did.
Probably will get “canceled” for the trans transgressions.
I watched it too. I don’t really like his style. His content is fine, but he does this nervous laugh like he’s unsure of his jokes.
Dave Chappelle is a lot more confident and steady.
The Boys - caught up through ep4. An even darker look at the world of super heroes. Love this show.
Obi-wan - what a hot mess. This nostalgic money grab had more plot holes than a block of Swiss cheese.
Stranger Things - though the first half waiting for 2nd half to drop. Well done and true to the series but I’ve forgotten a bunch of the earlier seasons. This one seemed to jump around more following groups on 3 locations, or maybe 4.
Ms. Marvel - current on this. Very well done so far. Probably Disney+ best series since Loki.
Haven’t gotten to Ms Marvel yet, will probably sometime before summer ends with the kids.
The Boys is too dark/violent/gruesome for Mrs G, so that’s on my own. I liked 1st 2 seasons. Will hold off on starting 3rd til all episodes are available.
Obi-wan and Stranger Things are family viewing currently.
Started Amazon’s Night Sky - sci fi suspense with J. K. Simmons and Sissy Spacek. I give it a “recommend” based on 1st 2 episodes. Themes on a personal level, not space opera (probably will retain character focus even if some wider stuff comes in), if that helps.
The Boys may have gotten darker in season 3…if that’s possible.
My sister suggested I watch Black Mirror. So far I’ve only watched the pig f*cking episode. Made me wonder a little bit why my sister suggested it. Lol.

Got my kid to watch “Wild Babies” with me. Really Great Nature Doc imo. Has a lot of really unique shots and animals.
