Halfway through Made for Love on HBO, to be followed by The Flight Attendant, Hacks and Barry.
Our Great National Parks (Obama narrated)
Watched the first couple episodes of the new Stranger Things. Really hits the sweet spot for me. Scary enough and lots of nostalgia. The scenes in the video store were great.
I finished it but donât remember what happened here. Iâm always too stoned to remember
Itâs always good for rewatching. After 3 or 4 tries you might remember it all lol
New documentary series on CNN about Watergate, mostly with John Dean, but there is the founder of the Nixon Library who has no qualms about getting the history right on Nixon. From what Iâve heard, all the tapes are available at the Nixon Library.
Finished âThe Babyâ on HBO. Rather disappointing ending.
Finished âWe Own This Cityâ on HBO, fact-based drama about corrupt cops in Baltimore. Very good, IMO. Not a fan of the bouncing around of timelines, though.
Sounds awesome. Nearly finished Gaslit, which covers it from both John Dean and Martha Mitchell point of view Iâll have to watch the CNN one next.
Have made a note to watch the new Watergate series.
Probably streaming on CNN+âŚoh, wait.
If you have a cable subscription, you can watch CNN by logging into its website via your cable provider.
Anyone watching Obi-Wan?
They killed off the Grand Inquisitor in episode 3, even though the Grand Inquisitor also dies in Rebels season 1. Can they write themselves out of the contradiction? Is there more than 1 Grand Inquisitor? Can this Grand Inquisitor have survived a light saber slicing through his torso?
I took âGrand Inquisitorâ as a position, not a person. I havenât seen rebels though so canât say that they are indeed the same person.
Iâve watched none of the Clone Wars but my son has decide heâs got to watch them now. Doubt I will. But like ALivelySedative I too assumed the Grand Inquisitor referred to a position title more than an individual person. Much like Darth Maul, Count Dooku, and Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader all had the title of âApprentice to the Emperorâ
Iâm not sure what I think about Obi-Wan. Seems like they are forcing events between the 2 trilogies and I feel like itâs never going to fit quite right.
Iâm trying to suspend belief since it is after all a fictional sci-fi show based on a space opera series of movies that started in the 70s.
Started watching House from the beginning, again. Have started it many, many times, and watched it while it was on for a time, but have never finished it. On episode 11 now of season 1.
I remembered the rabies episode from the first time I watched it. Always makes me sad when the patients die.
The consensus online (in Star Wars nerd forums) seems to be that he must survive the light saber attack by the 3rd sister.
My favorite from season 1 is the one where he is forced to give a lecture and it turns out to be his back story
If Maul can do it, why not him I guess.
Exactly. Deja vu all over again. And at this point of the canon timeline, Maul is alive (at least his top half is)
Started watching Queenâs Gambit. I missed it when it came out. Itâs really good.
yeah usually you canât go wrong with shows that become super famous on netflix.
exception - emily in paris. Although I think it got famous for the wrong reasons
Yeah, Queenâs Gambit was great.
Avoided Emily in Paris like the plague though.
