What are you watching (bingeing) these days?

A hint of the accent was back when she went outside.

I gave wandavision a try. Didn’t realize it was a marvel thing. I imagine I would be too lost to keep watching, am I wrong?

Just watched the first three episodes of season 2 of “blown away”. I liked it.

Finished both seasons of Legit, a Jim Jeffries sitcom from about 8 years ago maybe. It was pretty slow getting going, but I was pretty invested by the end of season 2.

Finished the Animaniacs reboot. Not quite as good as the original, but I enjoyed it.

Not sure how into the MCU you are. Bare minimum you’ll need some Age of Ultron and Infinity Wars background. Civil War might help too. You’ll recognize some of the other characters from other movies, but that’s not all that important.

Question from episode 5:

Is it at all important that it is the actor from the X-Men series, and not the one from Age of Ultron?

Summary

I have herd that this is a way to weave X-Men in to the MCU. Also, there is a multiverse dimension to the next Dr. Strange movie that this may play a part in. Just what I read.

Yeeeeah. I don’t even know what this means.

If you’re not a Marvel fan, Wanda Vision probably won’t make a whole lotta sense.

And EC, yes that is likely to have large implications for the Marvel Universe going forward.

Sounds like a pass for me. Way too much effort to rob my brain of cells.

In the comics, Wanda / Scarlet Witch had the power to warp all of reality. I think you’re right that this is part of weaving the X-Men into the MCU. We’ll have to see what Pietro has to say for himself in this week’s episode.

There are also rumours that the next Spider-Man movie has Tobey Maguire and Andrew Gardfield portraying Spider-Man as well, albeit from alternate universes/timelines. Plus Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy / Spider-Gwen and Willem Dafoe as Norman Osborn.

actually shocked she did not get an Emmy nom as a guest. Especially with the sttus of the show and the actress

Finished The Mandalorian.
So meh.

After the end credits, there should have been a “Oh, hey Boba. Sorry about that whole Sarlacc thing.”
“No problem. It was a battle, and I lost my footing.”

Watched all the eps of A Stitch in Time (only 6 eps)

Fun premise, and lots of great historical outfits and art

Been going through the eps of this:

Don’t watch til -after- you’ve eaten dinner
Dear lord, the meats.

both series on Prime

That last episode though!!

That’s what I’m talking about!

Anywho I am waiting for the Muppet Show with original music on Disney plus. Comes out on the 18th.

finished Great British Baking and How To Get Away With Murder.

Speaking of food porn, the owner/chef from a local restaurant is going to be part of Top Chef 18, premiering on April 1st. We are fans of his restaurant, so this is very exciting!

I am into the cooking shows, love top chef, outside of restaurants have seen Mark Murphy on the street in NY and Marc Forgione at my local beach (they had tomahawk bones for lunch)

Just finished Amazing Race 32 and after putting it off for many years have decided to rewatch starting from season 1. Has anyone ever done this?
First season is interesting so far, Twin Towers still standing and Phil still has a bit of Kiwi twang to his voice. It also feels more like a documentary with arty camera angles (now it feels more like sports camerawork).
