First two episodes of Cross on Amazon. Liking it so far.

Through episode 7 of Agatha on Disney+. A bit confused but I am having fun.
I’ll probably start up the Penguin on Max soon too.

I just started S1. I gather the context is around LoL, which I never played…actually relevant to understanding the series at all?

I also never played it but I still found the series great.

We finally started up the new season of The Bear. Wow, what a shitshow. Or a shit show. A comedy show, right.
Only sane person there is the Oliver Platt character. If he were any real kind of “mobster” this show will end with Carmy strung up in a burnt-out restaurant (for the insurance).

I quite enjoyed Archane season 1. I’m not enjoying season 2 as much but it’s been pretty good, we have just one episode left so maybe the big payoff at the end with Hextech Jesus (as my wife and I have been calling him) will make it all worthwhile.

I never played League of Legends nor was I that familiar with the game but have a basic idea of the concept.

I find Animation series hit or miss, some we love some no so much and give up. We never really got into the Legend of Vox Machina but maybe we’ll give it a try.

@NerdAlert,as for knowledge of the game to enjoy the series, probably not required. Other series that were live action not animation that we very much enjoyed the tv series adaptation without actually having any real knowledge of the game were Fallout (Amavon Prime) and The Last of Us (Max) and are looking forward to future season when they release.

On a side note Ella Purell voices Jinx in Archane and also played one of the leads, Lucy, in Fallout seems she has video game type cast.

I finished a Korean sci-fi series on Netflix - Sisyphus. It was a love story mixed with time travel, and lots of BAD people. Quite a few time travel paradoxes, which are loosely handled. I still enjoyed watching it.

I started watching a Chinese sci-fi series on Netflix - Futmalls.com. It was a murder mystery that hinged on buying stuff from the future. I stopped watching in episode 3.

I watched this a while back and really enjoyed it.

Silo season two episode one came out last week. Not exactly bingeable, but I’m glad it’s back.

I have almost finished season two of The Good Detective. The dysfunctional billionaire family members who own TJ Corp set the bar very high for EVIL.

Both are excellent shows. Have played none of the games either.

I’m a huge fan of Arcane, Fallout and The Last of Us. Season 1 of Arcane blew me away. Wasn’t aware that there was a season 2 since we got rid of Netflix but may need to resubscribe now. I was a big fan of LoL back in the day but don’t think you need to know anything about the game to enjoy the show. Some of the champions like Jinx and Vi got huge increases in play rate after the show came out.

I don’t rewatch shows very often but wouldn’t mind seeing Fallout again. Was way better than I expected.

through lack of checking, i have stumbled into 2 shows that are not fully available (releasing week by week). i hate that. they are shrinking and the new season of ghosts.

started The English Teacher last night. it is only 6 or 8 episodes and we watched 3 of them. Funny.

now, one show we are watching that comes out week by week is Dr Odyssey. it is shockingly awful and I can’t look away. if this show gets a second season I will be amazed (but complicit via eyeballs on S1).

Into Season 6 of my rewatch of Mad Men. Aside from having to listen to my wife’s swearing at certain segments, it has been great. Well worth the rewatch.

“Ghosts” (American one?) is on regular TV, so one episode at a time.
“Shrinking” has no excuse. That’s AppleTV+, which we won’t renew until there is enough new product (and whole series) to consume.

started ghosts US when it was in S3 on tv. by the time I caught up it was all bingeing. then I watched the UK version too.
i don’t time the market - just keep all the streaming wide open. its just money.

Looking through recommended Apple TV shows and I liked the look of Sunny about a woman in Japan that receives a robot from her husband’s robotics company after the husband and son vanish in a plane crash. It got 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Only problem is, they just cancelled it (it came out in July) and the first season ends on a cliffhanger.

Landman episode 1. I liked it. I’ll stick with it for now.

Yellowstone has been weirdly confusing with it’s time jumps like a Quentin Tarantino movie.
