I don’t think so but perhaps? I don’t remember doing so but maybe I did 3 weeks ago.
this plot tease makes me very excited!
I haven’t seen the show You. All four seasons are in the top 101 titles viewed (one show can be in the list several times if there are multiple seasons). Has anyone seen it?
I’ve been binging the Hallmark-Christmas-movie-like Walmart ads. Has something like this been done before? It seems like a great idea. And it seem like it must have been an interesting logistics feat, to plan ahead to be able to include everything they’re selling within one Hallmark-Christmas-movie-like set of ads that don’t really seem like ads. It’s very watchable even with the product placement. I don’t know who the lead actress is, but she’s perfect for what it is.
Watched the pilot and immediately gave up. It was not for me, not a big fan of cringe-drama. YMMV.
i saw it. meh
Reacher season 2 is out. I saw the first ep. It’s mostly a setup of new characters for the season’s plot, which revolves around the members of Reacher’s old investigative unit.
He did beat the crap out of someone random (who deserved it), just to remind us that he can.
working through S3 of Only Murders.
It’s a friday so i watched 20/20. stunned at the ending. actually pissed me off with the trial result and my perception of the lack of exploration of alternatives for the police/DAs.
Been following the top 50 tv shows of 2023 according to The Guardian. They’ve been releasing each of the top 10 one day at a time. Only three spots left, so most are agreeing that it will be The Bear, Succession and Happy Valley as the top 3.
Finished TLOTR Extended Versions trilogy.
Better than the books, which were a horrid slog.
Started up Cheers again. I was watching it on Netflix before it was taken off there, got to the end of Season 1.
On Hulu now, but only the first four seasons.
The “Andy” episodes are hilarious.
Good news on the sci-fi front - Foundation has been renewed by Apple+ for season 3. It took a bit longer than expected to be announced (I believe due to the writers/actors strike), so was a bit scary. No word on if there will be a For All Mankind season 5 but fingers crossed.
I also found out recently (announced back in August) that the Amazon Prime sci-fi show, The Peripheral, had been renewed for season 2 but was subsequently cancelled midway through the strike.
Looks like season 2 of Shoresy is on Hulu now. This is the sequel to Letterkenny.
Homeland on HULU.
On season 5 of Lost. Also restarted King of Queens.
Watched Trevor Noah’s special from Detroit on Netflix. Such a talent.
Reacher
We’ve seen him live a couple of times. Really funny
