Ugh… good point

I totally agree. An endorsement from Putin is not something either candidate wants!

Well, all his wives are almost certainly past childbearing age. As long as he wraps it up when he pays for sex, abortion bans don’t hurt him in the least, and he has no personal incentive to care about other women.

I know where my bets would be on that one…

I’m inclined to believe that he does wear a raincoat; there are reports that he is a bit of a germaphobe.

This popped up for me at Reddit: Trump says he’s considering former Hawaii congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard as running mate

I’m guessing that Mike Pence is not the unnamed sixth option.

Trump has been practicing his ability to list 5 things by memory. We may never know of number 6 is real.

He didn’t actually list those people. Laura Ingraham listed them and asked if they were on his “short list”.
Trump just said “All those people are good, they are all solid”.

I think she could have named six other people that have been mentioned as VP possibilities and gotten the same response. I read this as the typical non-committal answer. He did pick out Tim Scott, who was apparently in the room.

Polls have been closed maybe 15 minutes, Trump is declared the winner in South Carolina.

Not a surprise, the only questions are
(1) what kind of margin he wins by,
(2) how long it takes for Nikki to drop out, and
(3) how long it takes Nikki after dropping out to fall in line behind Trump hook, line and sinker.

estimated 90% counted, 60/39.

Michigan is Tuesday. [Well, the primary is Tuesday; the caucuses are the 2nd, and she’s going to get fucking yeeted in those.] I previously thought she’d drop out after losing South Carolina, before Michigan; I’m sticking by it for now.

At his CPAC speech, Trump talked about how much he loves his kids and listed them and their spouses. He forgot Eric.

He also referred to Melania as Mercedes, which is the name of the wife of the CPAC organizer.

And if Biden had made those types of slips he would have been crucified. Trump has slipped cognitively but he is held to a much lower standard.

It’s less obvious if you’ve never been all that smart.

The republican nomination is all but over. Especially since CA recently changed the rules to give all of the delegates to the candidate who has over 50% of the votes. (Bonus points if you can guess who urged this change)

I’ll call a timeout on this. Watching the video, he was talking about his wife and then said something about Mercedes (CPAC organizers’ wife). While it was an incoherent rambling, not sure he was really mixing up the two.

3D chess, if you’re always incoherently rambling then no one can catch you out for dementia

 OMG. I have to let my middle child know. Wait, what is her name again?

Yes, that is 100% true. I dont think he was like that in 15/16, but he has been around consistently enough that the gradual slip over the last 8 years has generally gone unnoticed. .
