Eh, I’d rather just have public universities cost less.
Some combination of spending less and getting more funding from the states would be good… we can quibble about the exact balance.
Also, fewer jobs requiring college degrees. We don’t need Administrative Assistants and Claims Analysts with college degrees. We just need people with good heads on their shoulders.
You mean you want to go back to the pre-1970 model before for profit schools bitched about not getting enough federal subsidies and they changed the nearly free public college experience into lifetime of serving your college debt?
It’s sad that the cost of college isn’t a point of discussion in american politics. This is an area that has easy fixes, but the higher ed lobby is very powerful.
Sad if true but that is where we are in this year’s political discussion. I do not understand how any woman could view this as an accomplishment to boast about.
That poll had her leading Trump on the economy a month ago as well. The difference between both is still pretty similar pre and post debate, so I wouldn’t celebrate just yet. Unless something dramatic happens, just expect a tight race, especially in states like Pennsylvania.
I watched the linked CNN clip. Vance denies any connection to the garbage he and Trump spews to the multiple bomb threats. Dude, you’re the f-ing senator for that state.
You’d think as a father he’d revisit his behavior and bomb threats to schools. I guess it tracks since he thinks school shootings are a fact of life. He said he condemned the threats (blah, blah, blah) but zero self reflection. I’d like to think someone who graduated from Yale couldn’t be that dumb. I can’t imagine the amount of ambition required to attach oneself to that immoral garbage train.
