Jon Stewart touched on that in his Monday show.
While it’s been getting worse…he has been this way for years. None of this really should be a surprise.
Americans elected him anyway.
Jon Stewart touched on thaty in his Monday show.
Trump says the US doesn’t need anything from Canada so I hope he reads this article when he is sitting in the john at 3 am.

Canada recently committed to buying 88 American F35 fighter jets. Just one example of how trade with Canada greatly benefits the US as they are manufactured in Texas. Looking at the Ukraine-Russia war, possibly some of that money should have been spent on developing domestic drone production instead. No talk of Canada reneging on the F35 purchases though, yet.
I hope the Canadian military is studying the war there like crazy to get ideas on what we need to do/buy.
You could get tips from Australia about how to renege
Although now an admiral is saying Australia should do a double-renege.
The Anti-American alliance is going to grow.
Yeah, that episode was pretty ugly.
I know next to nothing about what military equipment Canada should be buying but I have read articles about how some traditional equipment might be less relevant in modern warfare.
Elon will be reviewing Pentagon spending soon so maybe he can illuminate us!
Putin must be over the moon with glee over this USA-Europe schism.
Anyone else note the irony that this is happening in Munich where Chamberlain appeased Hitler in 1938?
It has been mentioned once or twice in our news.
I would expect it to be mentioned in the UK. Not so much in the US though as not the same awareness of European history.
And, of course, it was covered extensively in my Canadian high school history classes.
Yeah, the “once or twice” was somewhat understated. Chamberlain comparisons all over the news.
Mexico responds..
And now so is the EU.
US Food Import Ban. That will hit farmers in the US hard.
I don’t mind, let them do it. We have reciprocal tariffs
Is Trump proposing a ban on all food imports from the EU? Or is this like, “You can’t ban our imports, we’re banning our exports!”
(In all likelihood, he just doesn’t understand the fundamental concepts.)
Trump seems to be going much easier on the UK than Canada when it comes to steel tariffs? Maybe Trump wants to stay on good terms with Charles III as he sees him as the guy to buy Canada from?
Trump owns property in the UK
Yes. Its all in Scotland and its golf-related.
