I’m fairly easy going, and generally pretty open to comedy in general.
BBT is just not very good.
I did want to like it, but after a few episodes I lost interest as it wasn’t all that funny.

That’s not their target audience. Because - why would anyone target that audience?
My dad lives bbt, I can’t stand it, it’s the laugh track I think, I just can’t take that idea anymore. I’ll laugh when something is funny, not when I’m told.
I think in my life I’ve seen about 5 minutes and it annoyed me and I turned it off. But I fully acknowledge that I have perhaps not given it a fair chance.
Same. Several people recommended it to me, and i tried it once it twice, and never made it through an episode. But i might not have tried a good episode.
Not saying it is unwatchable or emmy-worthy.
But it isnt crap like the Sheen sit"com" or HIMYM.
Maybe time to split out BBT posts into a new topic with a poll?
It’s a comedy, of course it’s fast and loose with what really goes on.
“Over 62% of all strokes which occurred globally in 2019 were estimated to be ischemic in nature.”
Stroke was the second leading cause of death globally l in 2019.
ischemic
BBT is about on par with most other sitcoms. Most of which I don’t watch bc I got out of the habit in the 90’s.
Made an exception for The Middle bc it was basically my life. Except for the Iowa part. Or was it Ohio? I definitely had the perfect neighbor.
Um, Indiana. I watched it, but I didn’t find very amusing. A little, sure.
I loved bbt. Probably too close to home for you nerds though?
HIMYM and Modern Family are two sitcoms I do actually enjoy. Or did, haven’t watched either in a while. I know Modern Family is kind of campy but I think it’s well-written and the cast is fun.
I’m guessing the rest were either amchemic or arechemic?
This source has that % much higher: Types of Stroke and Treatment | American Stroke Association
If I remember, I’ll get you the source of my source…but I might not be motivated

TIL Mrs. Hoffman had a higher Wonderlic score than Tim Tebow.
I had her take the Wonderlic once, just to compare to a few intern applicants. She scored higher (24) than they did.
Tebow posted a 22.
