TIL I have a new goal in life.
Your stomach gets a new lining every few days to prevent it from digesting itself.
If I hold down the right button on my phone and say âStaâ stopwatchâ it starts my stopwatch. I donât even have to say the ârt. Iâm not sure if it only works with an Australian accent.
Also, âSta time 5 minâ for a 5 minute timer. Also works for 1, 2, 3 and 6 but not 4 (in which case I have to say âSta time four minutesâ)
Crikey, mate, your phoneâs got the ears for Strine! Must think âstaâ is short for âstrewth, get a move on!â Reckon if you tried âsta barbie timer,â itâd throw a snag on for ya too?
I got it down to âStahstah watchâ. I canât think of any other consonants to take out.
LED bulbs arenât supposed to be used in garage door openers. Had a new one installed today and he told me not to use them. I thought maybe that was based on his anecdotal experience, but Google agrees with him. Off to buy some CFL bulbs.
Mostly about the Radio Frequency, according to Google AI. Some bulbs (of all types) do not handle the constant shaking.
There are specific LED bulbs for garage door openers.
I think I have LEDâs in my garage door opener. They might be CFLâs though.
Here is a website selling their own LED bulb:

Huh⌠at the old house that belonged to STBX and me I put in some lightbulbs in the garage door opener that didnât really work. I wonder if that was the problem. Not my problem any more but it was mildly annoying the last month before I moved out.
Had no idea that the Kumbh Mela religious festival could attract a crowd of over 400 million people over its duration.
Terribly tragedy unfolding there currently.
I need to look at that google to understand, but I donât think CFLs are they answerâŚthey donât work well when it is cold, or at least take a minute or so to warm up to full light output.
I recently swapped out the ones in my openers, I only had LEDs, so thatâs what it is going to be. I guess I will see if they die young, but they are already better than the 50% that were burned out + 50% that were outputting about a third of what they should produce.
For many people that is a problem. But a) I have five other lights (LED) in the garage and b) my garage is well insulated and conditioned, it never gets below 60°.
THERE ARE FOUR LED LIGHTS!!!

My garage door opener light is pretty low powered, I think 40 or 60 watt incandescent. I replaced the long florescent ones for general garage lighting with the ones below. It would be nice to have the general ones also come on when I open the garage door. The garage door opener light also comes on based on movement in the garage. I have thought of looking into how to connect them all so the general ones always come on when the opener light comes on along with being able to have them on a switch to turn on when I want.
good gravy, I have to shield my eyes from the glare from here! thatâs like 10 trillion candles worth of light!
Donât remember what the lumens are but yes they are bright. The florescents hadnât worked for a while (ballasts or something) so i had been dealing with only the opener light. When I installed the leds it did indeed feel like I was standing in the noon day sun. Itâs awesome. Mine donât have the round one in the middle but even being to one end of the garage no additional light is needed.
There is probably a better way but maybe more expensive. The easy way might be a motion sensor switch.
My BILâs father did this in their house because he was so sick & tired of my BIL leaving all of the lights on.
