Hey hey.
Didn’t go well. They didn’t hit the vein right and at the end I started getting lightheaded, which has never happened before with a regular whole blood donation (although it has happened with a power red attempt a few times). I think it’s only a fluke, and I was able to finish.
I hope you grabbed some extra snacks for your trouble.
They had these granola cookie things there and I had two and then went home and bought 36 more on Amazon. Super tasty.

This was my fastest donation ever I think. I got home 44 minutes after I left the house. That includes driving to the Red Cross, signing in, getting vitals and hemoglobin checked, answering a few questions, donating blood itself, enjoying nutter butters and fluids for at least 5 minutes, then driving home.
Have you also trained your major blood vessels to retract into your body on command?

took off a bit early from work. Mile walk, but still home in 1 1/2 hours.
