There was blood too. Wah. ![]()
I bought an umbrella about a month ago, but for the life of me I canāt find it now. ![]()
i have a box with extension cords in it. in my house somewhere. last seenā¦3 months ago. no clue now. maybe next to the golf shoes I canāt find
I had some dress shoes. I keep them in the box they came in with some shoes trees in them.
Last I saw them was for a wedding last July, and I will need them for some future weddings.
I look in the box and they are not there. the shoe trees are there. Did I loan them out to my son who then didnāt give them back? So I ask him. He says no, but he could be mistaken.
I discuss this at a friendās house. He says, āDidnāt you throw them out because the sole was coming off?ā
I did, indeed.
Speaking of weddings, I have a few to go to this year. Some may include drama.
My nephew is getting married. His fiance is good friends with my sons ex gf, and it was not a pleasant split. Worse, I got along REALLY well with her lol. And I guess sheās coming to the wedding. My sonās the best man. So hopefully everyone stays pleasant.
My neice is getting married as well. Sheās the daughter of my sister, that Iāve gone no contact with for many years. Sheās a bitter, nasty, angry drunk who puts on airs, and just did some stuff one to many times. But, I have to go to the daughterās wedding. Which is at the most expensive old-money country club in the area. LIke, full of 90 year old white people all old money. The wedding invitation has a dress code, which leads to a website with āsuggestions on following the garden formal standardā. FFS, I have to wear a suit? I donāt have a suit havenāt worn a suit in 30 years. And my brother in law, heās never worn a suit or jacket in his life - he wore a shirt at his own wedding, just long enough to walk down the āaisleā and then off came the shirt and he fired up the grill for some fried baloney. These are the poeple in our family, and you send them an invitation that says āgarden formalā. Thatās my sister.
You could always have more critical plans for that day, like needing to remain available in case any of your advisors have a peace proposal from your Iranian foes.
lol
Who buys an umbrella anyway? You can get them for free at the coffee shop in those metal cans.
